Initial Consultation £65 per hour
Consultation will typically last 1-2 hours and may consist of any of the following:
It is possible that your child might require an additional assessment session, in which case this will be negotiated during the initial consultation.
The same fee will apply to time spent outside of the consultation for tasks including planning, preparing for a session, analysis of assessment results and record keeping.
Following an initial assessment, if appropriate, I will provide a summary of findings and further recommendations. This may take from 30 minutes up to 2 hours to complete. The same fee (£65 per hour - pro rata) will apply.
In some circumstances, detailed reports may be necessary. Such reports typically take more than 2 hours to collate. Reports will comprise of assessment findings and analysis, possible therapy aims and or recommended intervention. The same fee will apply (£65 per hour -pro rata).
All discussions about your child will usually take place during therapy sessions as they are an integral part of the therapy process. You are welcome to book an additional half hour Zoom/phone appointment if you need a longer discussion, which will be invoiced for.
Standard Therapy Sessions £65 per hour (pro rata)
A session will typically last between ½ an hour to an hour. This will include time spent with the child and accompanying parent/carer or teacher. The fee also includes time spent outside the consultation for tasks including preparation of materials, planning, record keeping and liaising with parents and/or teachers, other professionals.
All discussions about your child will usually take place during therapy sessions as they are an integral part of the therapy process. You are welcome to book an additional half hour Zoom/phone appointment if you need a longer discussion, which will be invoiced for.
School Visits £65 per hour (pro rata)
Teachers often request school/nursery visits. Such visits are only made with parental agreement. An hour is usually sufficient time.
Therapy sessions can also be undertaken in school on a regular basis, charged at £65 (pro rata).
Where home activities are provided, it is the responsibility of the parents/ carers to ensure that the therapy materials are sent back on the appropriate day, and for informing me if their child will be absent from school.
Parents/carers are encouraged to come to some school-based sessions to make sure that therapy activities can be completed at home successfully.
Mileage & Travel
Travel within a 10 mile radius of CA4 9QN is free of charge and there will be a charge of 60 pence per mile made beyond this (calculated using google maps).
There is no fee charged for the first 15 minutes of travel to/from appointments. Journeys that take longer than 15 minutes will be charged at ½ the hourly rate (£32.50) and will be calculated using google maps as usual time taken as oppose to actual time taken (thus avoiding charge for unforeseen conditions such as roadworks).
Payment
It is requested that accounts are settled within 10 days of the invoice date.
Parents using private health insurance are responsible for settling the invoice and then claiming from the insurer concerned. It is advisable to check the level and nature of your cover with the insurer before agreeing to therapy.
Payment via cheque, cash or bank transfer are all accepted.
Cancellation Policy
There are occasions when all of us have been forced to cancel appointments, as much notice as possible is always appreciated.
Should I need to cancel an appointment, I will contact you as soon as possible and reschedule.
Wherever possible, please give a minimum of 24 hours’ notice of your request to cancel.
Sessions cancelled by the client with less than 24 hours’ notice may be liable to the full charge of the session fee (without travelling costs)

Fees are subject to annual increases. Clients will be given 4 weeks’ notice of any changes in fees.
Liaison
It is important for your child’s care that liaison with other professionals involved with his/her learning and development is carried out.
My professional standards require good liaison and it is good practice, where both an independent and an NHS therapist are involved, for them to work together collaboratively to maximise opportunities for effective therapy to take place. This is also true where there are other professionals involved as well. I am always happy to discuss this and any related concerns with parents.
Discharge Criteria
Parents are entitled to withdraw their child from therapy at any point.
If I feel that therapy is not effective, this will be discussed with you and I may recommend that we stop.

Data Protection
Chloë Hall is registered with the Information Commissioner’s Office (ICO) as a Data Controller. All processing and storing of personal data is done so in accordance to the Data Protection Act 2018 and General Data Protection Regulations.
Information is stored on a secure electronic system called “WriteUpp”. Any paper based confidential information is stored securely in accordance with General Data Protection Regulations and the Data Protection Act 2018.
In accordance with law, all records will be kept securely until your child is 25 years old. After this time all records relating to your child will be destroyed. You may apply in writing to access an electronic copy of your child’s notes or to request modifications of any inaccuracies. These requests will be dealt with within 30 days.

- School based therapy sessions, whereby the therapist has not been informed of the child’s absence.
- A home visit, if you are not there.
Non Payment

- A reminder of the overdue payment will be sent (via text, email or letter).
- If payment is not paid within 7 days of the reminder being sent, you will receive written notice that therapy is suspended, pending payment in full.
- If payment is not received in full within 7 days of written notice being sent, I reserve the right to refer the matter to a solicitor with a view to commencing legal action.
